Got photos in the email today of an American who took pics of an advertisement on the side of a bus. Here's the quote: The way of life of Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mo-HAMM-ad, well, that addition is mine. It went on to say GainPeace.com 800-662-islam to get their free literature. See where I'm going with this? Then they get the false impression that their stupid cult is growing while we get free paper to line our monkey cages and pig pens. Anyone game to make them spend their money? I'm going to their website now!

Next Stop…Islam! – Chicago Buses to Carry Ads about Islam

GainPeace, an outreach project of ICNA Chicago, is launching the Bus Ad Campaign: The purpose is to educate fellow Chicagoans about Islam and Muslims.

Chicago, IL, September 5, 2008: GainPeace, an outreach project of Islamic Circle of North America is launching a bold venture in its public awareness campaign by placing ads about Islam on the city of Chicago buses. Starting on September 8th 2008, for four weeks, several buses in Chicago will start carrying messages on the religion of Islam. Each ad will invite interested individuals to call GainPeace’s toll free number 1-800-662-ISLAM and converse live with a Muslim, ask questions about Islam, request a free copy of the Quran and Islamic literature. Their website Gain Peace-dot-com, displayed on the ad will provide more detailed information on Islam.

Similar projects on sub-ways (YouDeserveToKnow, a project of WhyIslam) and buses in other major cities in United States have generated coverage by major media outlets and curiosity from the general public.

Dr. Sabeel Ahmed, director of GainPeace, comments: “Islam is often a misunderstood religion, leading some to hold bias view of Islam with discrimination and suspicion of Muslims. This ad campaign will provide an opportunity for the people of Chicago to take a fresh and positive look at Islam through simple messages displayed on buses.”

Past media campaigns of GainPeace included ads about Islam on Chicago highway billboards, radio station and Taste of Chicago.

WHY are they allowed to launch this campaign when there would never be an allowance for a counter campaign, preaching the truth.

I am becoming so sick to death of the dhimmitude attitude that is permeating this country..

Are we sure this is real? Upon a closer look at these pics they almost look photoshop. Notice how the top banner over shoots the edge of the bus. I'm not saying that they are, just wondering.

In fairness though, I have seen plenty of evangelizing on busses as well as pastors faces on busses and subways. I just hope that dhimmitude can be dealt with on a mass scale. That will help rid busses of the dawa campaigns!

I do know they are setting up booths at fairs now too. They are getting out their message better than most other organizations. Not good, not good!
